Dear Pia and family,
I would like to send our heartfelt condolences to you all. I was just going through some old papers of my parents and came across a photo which must be many years old and has 6 of your family members in it . I decided to Google Pia Notini as your name & the others are on the back of the photo, and came on to this site. i had always wanted to find out about uncle Louis and his family in the USA but regretfully did not do it in time . I am Giovanni Notini's son . He was Louis's brother.
From what I have learned they caught up together for the last time prior to the US entering WW2 My dad migrated to Australia from Italy in 1949, but he was dreadful for correspondence in his later years and I think they lost touch many years ago . My own dad passed away in 1996 aged ~81 I would be delighted to hear from you and would love to forward the photo too. All the best to you and your family from the Aussie Notini clan . Love to all

Pia, Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your dad. You and Ernie were so good to him and made his last days happy and comfortable. Please know that he is at peace. I am so pleased I had those few visits with him. He lived a long and happy life. I will always remember "Uncle Louie". Love, Marian
