I am so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I knew him when I was a kid at Ferry Beach. I remember his face so well and the smile that always made me smile. I am sure he has touched many people in his life, mine included.

Reverend Drinon was a quietly strong principled man whose example will long be remembered. I will be forever grateful for his insight and his level of acceptance for all. He raised a fine daughter and led a wonderful church and those who knew him will be positively and permanently affected by his kindness.

I knew Dick for just a year ,but he had touched my heart as if I knew him forever. He had a great sense of humor and was an extremely smart and very interesting man.
It will be hard to replace him at the Unitarian Church of Hopedale.

I have had the distinct privelege of working with Dick during the last year. He has been kind, thoughtful, humorous and much, much more. His heart was warm and large enough to cover just about every possible human need. This world needs more people like Dick. His presence will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to Sarah.

I don't know where to begin. Dick was such a wonderful man. I'll miss our conversations when I'd call the church to talk to my mom but end up having a long baseball conversation with Dick instead. He was SO funny, so positive, so loving. My husband and I were fortunate enough to have him marry us last year, I'm so grateful to have shared that time with him. I love him and I'll miss him, but I know whenever I think of him I'll smile.
The perfect photo to capture my father's spirit.

I am so very saddened to hear of the passing of Dick. He was a counselor at Camp Rotary in Boxford, MA back in the 1950's where my father, Jim Goodwin, was director. Dick was a wonderful person making a memorable impact on young people's lives. He will always be fondly remembered.
