Peggy, Joanie and Dee,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mother will always have a special place in my heart. She was truly a one of a kind woman who gave so much love to those around her. I will never forget all the wonderful memories I have of her ... cheek pinching, all the kids in the neighborhood putting on performances for her and going to the corner store for her to pick up a pack of Kents and hiding them from Recca! Tontine Street will never be the same. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

Remembrances of Mrs. Murphy...
Summer evenings on the porch losing to her at 500 rummy (she always got the aces). Down to Jack's to run an errand for her, then making me keep the change. A neighborhood presence who watched a lot of kids grow up, and seemed generally interested in and concerned for all of us.
Mostly as a nice lady with whom you could always share a good laugh.
Rest in Peace Mrs. Murphy

To Phyllis's Daughters & family,
My sincere sympathy and prayers go out to you all. Your Mom was one of my first Homemaking clients when I was working for Intercity. Then she became one of my first clients as a Home HealthAide. I was so very blessed to have met this most beautiful and gracious woman. And also to meet you girls at one time or another. She was so proud to speak of her children and grandchildren. She shared and gave so much to me. She will be sorely missed I'm sure as she gave so much of herself. Thank you for being a dear friend. Rest in Peace my friend. You know I love you. Janice DeBlosi
