Frances Taffe Obituary

TAFFE, Miss Frances Elaine 84, of the Acre section of Haverhill, died Sunday, October 12, at the Penacook Place Nursing Home in Haverhill after a brief illness. Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Daniel R. and Ethel M. (Robitaille) Taffe. A devout member of St. James Parish all of her life, she was a Graduate of St. James Grammar School and St. James High School, Class of 1941. She continued her education at Merrimack College and received her Bachelor's Degree. She leaves behind her loving nieces and nephews, Jody A. and Charles Hickey of Brockton, Daniel J. Taffe of Haverhill, Mary Beth and Theodore L. Vitas of Atkinson, NH, Callie M. Taffe, MD, of Medford, MA and Biddeford, ME, Mark U. and Suzanne B. Taffe of Sandown, NH, John F. Taffe of Springfield, Mary Frances Connelly, ESQ. of Charlestown, Patricia A. and Warren T. Bamford of Bradford, John R., Jr. and Patrice Connelly, of Avon, CT, Jean M. Connelly and Andrew J. Coady, of Bradford, and Teresa M. Connelly, ESQ, of Manhattan, a brother-in-law, John R. Connelly of Bradford, fifteen grand-nieces and nephews, and several cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Dr. Daniel R. Taffe Jr. and sister M. Teresa Connelly. Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Thursday at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main St. (Rte 125) HAVERHILL from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. James Church, Winter St., Haverhill. Burial will follow in St. James' Cemetery, Primrose St., Haverhill.
