William Crowley Obituary

CROWLEY, William J. Jr. Of Hull, formerly of Arlington, October 14, 2008. Beloved husband of Maureen ( McCaffery) Crowley. Cherished father of Courtney Crowley of Hull. Son of the late William & Rose Crowley. Brother of Priscilla Crowley of Arlington. Son-in-law of Will & Rena McCaffery of Arlington. Brother-in-law of Bill & Cathy McCaffery, John & Nancy McCaffery, all of Woburn, Barb & Dan Byrne of Chelmsford, and John & Linda Pompey of Hull. Bill is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Bill grew up in Arlington and worked for the Arlington Public Works for 20 years, retiring back in 1981. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Bill was a member of both the Arlington Knights of Columbus, as well as the D.A.V. Post in Arlington. He moved to Hull in 1984 . He was a member of the V.F.W. Post in Hull. Bill will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Friday at 10:15 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in St. Ann Church, Hull at 11 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of William may be made to the Veterans Homeless Shelter, 17 Court Street., Boston, MA 02108 .
