It always made me feel good to see Betty. She was such an inspiration. I'll miss seeing her at the post office, church and York Hospital Oncology. I know she is at peace and I hope her family can find peace, too. Keep an eye on us all Betty.

Although Gary and I just met you & Betty this summer at Ogunquit Farms we enjoyed having you as neighbors. Betty must have been a very strong woman with a lot of faith because if you didn't know it, you would never know she was so ill. The loss of a love one is very sad, but remember all the good times together. We hope you will be back at Ogunquit Farms next year. You will be in our prayers.

To Betty's family and friends. Of course I was saddened to read the news about Betty. I had just seen her at the reunion for our school of nursing. Betty was very much admired by all who knew her and she was an inspiration to me. She faced her crisis with such bravery and gained joy out of each day. How fortunate we all are to have known Betty and what a lovely mother and wife she has always been. She will be missed but celebrated.

In my lifetime, two non-family people have impacted my look of this world, Doris Perry and Betty Ingersol. There aren't any words to express how very sorry we are to hear of Betty's death. She and Dick became our very dear friends during our years at Kountree Kampinn.
