Of Bedford, Oct. 11. Beloved wife of the late Orlando "Chic" Palmeri. Loving mother of Robert Palmeri and the late Alice Lorrey of Bedford, Sharon Downes and David of Palm Coast, FL and Joan Palmeri of Lowell. Devoted grandmother of Michael Downes and fiancé Kate of Woodinville, WA, Kristi Downes Edwards and Jonathan of Raleigh, NC, Kelly Callahan O'Neil and Matt of Westerly, RI, Matthew Callahan of Brighton, Kevin Lorrey of Lowell, and Marielaina Lorrey of Chelmsford, great grandmother of Madison Joan and Cadence Louise O'Neil of Westerly, RI, Erin Lorrey of Bedford and Katelyn and Emily Lorrey of Burlington. Dear sister of Dorothy DePiano of Burlington and the late Thomas Gallagher, Mary Govoni, Patricia Ciano and Irene Churchill. Funeral from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., BEDFORD, Fri. at 8:00 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 9:00 A.M. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be on Thurs. from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Hospice of your choice.

The sad news of Auntie Ruth has reached VT. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Auntie Ruth was an amazing woman. She lit up every room she entered. She will be greatly missed.

So sorry for your loss - we will miss Ruth. She was the perfect neighbor, and she made our kids feel like they had another grandmother. We take a little comfort knowing she's with Chic again.

I am so sorry and saddened by the loss of your mom. Although, I never met her; you talked with me about her how wonderful she was to you and your family. Am sure she will be deeply missed by everyone. She is in heaven now (her permanent home, ) looking down at you and all of her children and praying. God blees you!!
