M. Mello Obituary

MELLO, M. Constance "Connie" (Lewis) In Peabody, formerly of Salem, October 12 at 98 years. Wife of the late Joseph G. Beloved mother of Joseph G. Mello Jr., John R. Mello and wife Rosemary, all of Salem, Robert R. Mello and wife Nell of Gloucester and the late Nancy LaVasseur and Constance Denis. Dear sister of Evelyn Nabozny of Peabody, Ida Longeway and Mary Lewis, both of Salem, Julia Linehan of Rochester, NY and the late Manuel and Frank Lewis. Also lovingly survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, October 18 from the Vertuccio Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte 107) REVERE at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John The Baptist Church, 16 Church St. Peabody at 11 AM, followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Residence Council Recreation Fund at Blueberry Hill Nursing Home, 75 Brimball Avenue, Beverly, MA 01915.

Connie was my mother's room mate at Blueberry Hill. I saw her at least once or twice a week when I visited my parents. My dad is there as well.
I found out last night about her passing away when I walked in the room to return my mom's laundry. Please accept my condolences. It's never easy to lose your mother.
