I am so sad that I will not be able to see Mike again. I have not known him for long. I am a tenant at 1359 Centre St. in Newton. He was the best, kindest landlord I ever had. I felt we were partners in our ventures. He was such an inspiration to me as a small business owner, and he believed in me which is invaluable when you are new to entrepreneurship. He was such a fine human being. I feel blessed to have known him. I send my sincere sympathies to his family.

My prayers for the family...he is resting in peace. I only knew him for a short period of time. But that is all i needed, to know that he was a great person.
He will be miss...

To the O'Connor family :
I would like to extend my sincere condolences on the passing of Mike .I was the original garden reconstructor of Pansy Patch using Kate Reid's 1912 diaries ,and together we were able to rebuild a dream .I ran the greenhouse at Clibrig ,where I was able to propagate plants for all his saint Andrews properties .This was an exciting time when Mike's full attention was given to the projects at hand .His trust in me was second only to his devotion to his family .he loved you all deeply .

To the O'Connor Family~ I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Michael was such a great person, and an inspiration to all. I will miss him dearly and our chit chats on the phone. He would always make a situation seem a little less stressful and would make you see the positive side to all things. He is in my thoughts and prayers. To a thoughtful, kind, and considerate friend, Michael, may you rest in peace for your struggle is over.

Sincere sympathy to the family and friends: we shall truly miss our friend Michael, our many chats as we learned to be B&B owners and the horrors and joys of the restaurant business and of course Kate Reid. Michael's visits to St. Andrews are to be remembered and cherished.
