Harry Barker Obituary

BARKER, Harry L. Of Marshfield, formerly of W. Yarmouth and Needham, Oct. 14, at the age of 62. Son of the late John R. and Cathryn J. (Albro) Barker. Dear brother of Cathryn J. Barker of Marshfield, Suzanne Oldmixon and her late husband William of Weymouth, the late Joan Shaw and her husband Paul of Littleton, N.H., Molly Shaw and her husband Robert of Marshfield, John R. Barker, Jr. and his wife Cathy of W. Yarmouth, Julie Cantelli and her husband Stephen of Quincy and Thomas C. Barker and his wife Patricia of Epson, N.H. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Harry was born in Boston, graduated from Needham High School. He was a retired buyer for numerous electronic firms and was active in Needham Little League, A town meeting member in Needham, a volunteer on the Cape Cod Baseball League - Y.D. Red Sox, and a volunteer for the MS Society. He had worked on the Cape in the family business. Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, l755 Ocean St., Rte. 139, MARSHFIELD, Monday at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann by The Sea Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. Interment Winslow Cemetery, Marshfield.
