Mrs. Raftery and family-
I knew Mark from his times at Dr. Corbett's office, he was one of the kindest and sweetest men I've ever met. He always used to bring us treats when he came into our office and I hope he knew how much they were appreciated. He was a wonderful man and will be missed greatly. My deepest sympathies to your family at this time.

To the Raftery Family,
I had the privilege of growing up with Mark, spending 12 years in school with Mark, many a day on a basketball court or playing field with Mark, many nights just hanging out at one of our spots in West Roxbury with Mark! Although I have not seen or heard from Mark in a number of years, those memories are some of the fondest memories from my childhood in West Roxbury. I hope you all know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am truly saddened to hear this news! And I would like to add from the bottom of my heart it has always been and always will be an honor to say I was Mark "Raf" Raftery's friend! So long Good Friend! Bagley!

Dear Wendy, Kevin, Tim and Ryan,
Grieving the loss of a loved one is quite possibly the hardest thing a person can endure.
When your grief gets absolutley unbearable, remember that the pain you are feeling is as deep as the love you had for your dad and husband.

I knew Mark as a kid from the Nelson Street Trailer Park in Plymouth, alot of fun memories! I visited there just a few weeks ago and thought of the good times we had. I got in touch with Mark a few years ago, and we corresponded by email a few times. He was a good man and will be greatly missed.

Dear Wendy, Kevin Tim and Ryan,
We are most saddened about the news of Mark. He was a good guy and we liked him alot. We will keep Mark and each of you in our thoughts and prayers. Mark's days of pain, suffering and frustration are over now and we hope you may find peace in knowing that. Mark was a good husband and a proud father and that is the true measure of a good person. We are so sorry to hear about Mark. Your family was the first that we met and got to know when we moved to Norwood. We fondly remember the times we met on the ballfields watching our sons play with and against each other. We know Mark took great joy and pride in watching his sons accomplishments in sports.
