The family of Harley & Florence Grant would like to thank Dr. Fortier for all of the years he looked after their many children. Their 16 children are adults now and have many fond memories of Dr. Fortier over a span of thirty+ years. We will dearly miss him!

Dear Family of Andre Fortier...better known to me as Dr Fortier or "Andre". What a loss to the community & to you his family! I have so many serious & humorous memories of your Dad that I will never forget. It was such a pleasure to be able to work with him & at times share memories of his wife, Madeleine & his love & pride of his children.
My thoughts & prayers are with you all but remember that he is in a much better place where he no longer will have pain or loneliness. Love "Letendre", the nurse.
Claudette Letendre, one of his favorite nurses..although he wouldn't admit to me but to did so to my family!

Dear Family, Dr. Fortier was a good man. He and his wife Madeleine were my Confirmation witnesses in 1955 at St Andre's church. Saw him many times after that with my Memere Camire. He was her doctor and she so admired him as a caring and devoted physician. You were all blessed to have him as your Father. "O Most merfciful Jesus, please hold in your loving embrace our beloved ones, who have passed into the everlasting joy of your Heavenly Kingdom. Amen"

To all of Dr. Fortier's family I give you my deepest sympathy. I was a patient of his for many years and always found him to be a kind and compassionate man. He went above and beyond what was ask of him as a doctor. He is the meaning of what a doctor should be. I remember a woman and child in his office one day. They were very poor and he did not charge her for the visit. How may doctor's would do that today. Not many. May God walk him down the road to the kingdom of heaven and everlasting life.
