Agnes Walker Obituary

WALKER, Agnes T. (Braband) Ashland, MA 79, of Ashland passed away October 16th in the Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was the wife of Samuel (Boots) Walker of Ashland and they had been married 60 years. Born in Brooklyn, NY. Agnes was the daughter of the late Francis and Catherine (Duhig) Braband. She had lived in Ashland 60 years. She loved shopping and being with her family and enjoyed spending summers on Cape Cod. Besides her husband she is survived by one son: Francis Walker and his wife Melanie of North Attleboro, two daughters: Karen Leeds and her husband Chip of Bellingham, and Kathleen Mariano and her husband Dr. Lino of Canton. Eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be said on Monday morning at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church, Esty St., Ashland with interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held from the Matarese Funeral Home 325 Main St., ASHLAND, on Sunday evening from 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Aplastic Anemia Foundation P.O. Box 613 Annapolis, MD 21404.
