Lt. McLaughlin,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served during WW II and secondly for the citizens of Winthrop when you served with the WPD. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Joan and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I know what you are going through being an only child like myself. May you find the strength in God to help you and your family in this difficult time. I have known you since we were little girls in elementary and high school. I am sorry that I was not at the service. I found out afterwards. But please know that I send my Deepest Condolences to you, your mom, husband and daughters. If you need anything please do not hesitate in getting in touch with me.
With Deepest Sympathy

Joan & family: Joan & I are very sorry for your loss of Bill.
I remember many good & some hectic hours that Billy & I spent as partners in a Police cruiser & also our accusation dinners at the Hawthorns in Lynn, where we first met you Joan.
Bill was good friend & Police Officer, always caring for others.
In his first year on the job, His foot chase across Ingleside Park, to capture a robbery suspect, herald the Type of Officer he would be.
May our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ hold Billy Close in his Arms.
