Marilyn was a smart and devoted woman who was a good mother-in-law to me and a good grandmother to our daughter, Janeia. We miss her in our home, and we will always miss her.---Marianne (Judy's partner)

Marilyn was my Grammy. I loved her very very much. I have such great memories, from visting her at holidays, to getting letters from her. I really love her kugel; it was so amazing. Everytime I visited her she would make me some kugel or I would beg her to. I also remember that everytime I would visit her, she would always have something to give me, whether it was tiny antiques or makeup that she didn't use. I am very happy to have met and known Grammy. She was the best Grammy ever. <3 Janeia

Marilyn; You gave warmth to Armington St. like no one else could. Don't worry, we'll all take good care of Avi, he's been my good neighbor for 28 yrs. I'll think of you when I am tending to my bonsai trees. Best wishes Marilyn and Avi. Chris Chester

The strength and determination to hang on to life for the last few years that was shown by Marilyn was amazing. I feel privileged to have known her - she will be missed by each one whose life she touched.

Marilyn and I were friends since we were little kids. We lived across the street from each other, went to the same schools together and graduated from J.E.Burke High School together. Since I moved to Florida in 1997, my then husband Arnie Silverman and I used to meet Marilyn and Avi in Natick for lunch.
She and I went through a lot together. Our mothers were friends as were all the neighbors on Callender St. I am still in shock over her passing and I believe the last time I saw her is when Arnie passed away in 2004. She was an amazing person and it was an honor to be her friend.

It is with much fondness that I remember Marilyn. I will think of her always. My sympathy goes out to all, in her circle of love.

To the Brodskys/Wolfsons:
So sorry to hear about Marilyn's passing. Although I'm not related as far as I know, she and my parents grew up in the same area (my mother's name is also Marilyn Brodsky). I was invited to a family reunion in 1997 in Rhode Island to share my genealogical research, and I got to talk extensively with her and other members of the family. She was a delightful lady, and I know she will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

Thanks to mutual friend Dave Shire I received this news this morning. She and I went through the Boston schools -- at least into Jr High -- together, and then through BU. May she rest in Peace.
