Rosemarie Seale Obituary

SEALE, Rosemarie (Whitty) 76, of Charlton, daughter of the late William and Catherine Whitty of Dedham, MA died Saturday, October 18, 2008 at home. Rosemarie is survived by six children, Marilyn Real, Lee Connor, Eugene Seale, Barry Seale, David Seale, and Christine Breault. She worked at Friendly Ice Cream (she became the first woman to ever manage a shop), Data General (where she is memorialized in Pulitzer Prize winning "The Soul of a New Machine", Bytex, Epoch, and Wellesley College. A memorial service will be held Sat., Nov. 1, at 10:00 a.m. at the Federated Church of Charlton, 64 Main Street (Route 31), Charlton, MA.

To Chrissy, as I remember you, so very sorry to hear about your mom. I remember her clearly, and as Kristen mentioned, I, too, remember playing in your backyard, making forts and climbing the big hill, and your mom would give us goodies to eat! She was such a nice woman. To you and your family, my sincere sympathies.

To Christine and The Seale Family, I was so sorry to hear about your Mom. I have many wonderful childhood memories of playing up at your house making forts and pretending to drive your Mom's Volkswagon. I hope you find comfort in your memories to sustain you through this difficult time.
