Donald MacGibbon Obituary

MacGIBBON, Donald J. In Taunton, October 26, 2008. Donald J. age, 61, died at home while surrounded by his family. Donald fought a lengthy and courageous battle with his illness. He was the loving husband of Robin (Rodrigues) MacGibbon. Donald was born in Wakefield to his late parents Robert & Margaret (MacClellan) MacGibbon. He has lived in Taunton for the last 20 years. Donald worked as a auto mechanic and also with Greyhounds. He enjoyed helping his wife Robin at the flower shop, fixing & tinkering with things and military history. Besides his wife, Donald leaves his beloved children Robert, Christopher and Ryan MacGibbon all of Taunton. His siblings Ruth Crivello, Margaret Hardy, Robert MacGibbon, David MacGibbon all of Wakefield and the late Patricia Meuse and Dorothy O'Keefe. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 29th at 7pm. in the O'Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours prior to the service from 4-7pm. Interment is private at the request of the family.
