God Bless you Joe. You were always a stand up guy back in the day. Thanks for all the help and advice. Wish I paid more attention to it. Your heart was always in the right place. There were a lot of good guys in Pal Joey's, and on The Hill. You were one of the best. So long pal. Rest in Peace.

Dear Dottie -
I was just talking to Claire Vendice last night, and she told me of 'Bubby's' passing in October. I am assuming that this entry is for the Bubby of whom she spoke and we all knew so well. I have been away from N.E. for so long now (45 years!!), but I never forget our ski pals and the Iron Mountain House and the 'cold' baths or showers (take your pick) we were all subjected to in those years. It may have been cold, but it was always fun to be with you and your terrific brother and our many ski friends in the Clipped Wings. I loved you both and have often asked for you when I speak to Claire or Naomi, the latter of whom I keep in touch via e-mail. We always have lots of fun and laughs over those youthful days, now long gone. I know you will miss Bubby, as he was a wonderful guy, fun to be with, and always a most generous person. He has now joined the great Halls of Heaven to be with those family members who have preceded him there and were waiting for his arrival!!! And best of all, he is with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There are joy and laughter in Heaven this day and for many days to come!!! May Bubby's soul, and all the souls of the Donahoe family members departed, rest in the peace of their Lord. With love and caring always - and may the New Year bring you much joy and happiness amid loving yet bittersweet memories of a great brother now having passed on but never forgotten!!!
