John Patrick Hanley

HANLEY, John Patrick "Pat" Age 55, a resident of Southborough, formerly of Framingham, died at his home on Monday, October 27, 2008, surrounded by family and many friends. He was the husband of 21 years to Erin (McCann) Hanley of Southborough. Born and raised in Framingham, he was the son of the late William P. and Jean B. (DelPrete) Hanley. In addition to his beloved wife Erin, Pat is survived by his cherished daughter Olivia Jean Hanley, the light of his life. He is also survived by his sister Marianne Hanley of Nantucket, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and his firefighter brothers at the Sudbury Fire Department. Pat served as a Firefighter & E.M.T. for 30 years in the towns of Sudbury & Framingham. When he was not at the fire house, he worked as a highly skilled carpenter and cabinet maker, who could make or fix anything. Pat was an avid hunter & outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing, playing softball, football and hockey. He also enjoyed vacationing at his home on Newfound Lake in New Hampshire with his family and friends. He was a member of St. Matthew's Church in Southboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral on Friday at 9:30 AM from the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St, (Cor. of Union Ave.), FRAMINGHAM. ww.nortonfuneralhome.com followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. Stephen's Church, Concord St. (Rt. 126), Framingham.
