Kevin J. Sullivan

SULLIVAN, Kevin J. October 22, of Richmond, Virginia, at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, following a brief illness. He was born in Dorchester and lived in Dorchester, Quincy and Revere before moving to Richmond in 1993. Devoted husband for 32 years to Nevia Faiella Sullivan. Beloved son of Nora Carney Sullivan of Quincy and the late Eugene F. Sullivan. Loving father of Michael Gillis and his wife, Kristen of Peabody, Michelle Gillis of Peabody, Jessica Sullivan of Pawtucket, RI, and Matthew Sullivan and his wife, Mollee of Midlothian, VA and cherished grandfather of Stephanie, Nicholas, Brianna, Shauna, Rachael and Jasmine. Brother of Thomas Sullivan and his wife, Susan of Quincy, Eugene (Geno) and his wife, Barbara of Halifax, Ellen Sullivan Joy and her husband, David of Billerica, and Stephen and his wife, Priscilla of Avon, CT. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Kevin graduated from Cathedral High School in Boston (1968) and attended Suffolk University. Kevin was employed as a Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and had been a long-time employee of the former Bank of New England in Boston. Kevin's deepest passion was for his family and for his faith. Despite his distance from Fenway Park, Kevin remained an ardent Red Sox fan. Services have been held in Richmond, VA.
