My thoughts are with you at this time. I hope your fond memories of Alan comfort you at this time of loss. Working with Alan, Scott, and the rest of the Wilson Farm family in the late 1970's and early 1980's are memories I'll always treasure. Alan was a pleasure to have worked both with and for.

Lynne, Lesley and Scott,
You family has always been such an important part of my life, and that includes Alan - working at the Farm: learning how to collect and candle the eggs! I'll always treasure his seldom seen (but certainly heartfelt) smile and laugh. My thoughts are with all of you during these difficult times.

Repeating what one of our LHS '53 classmates wrote, Al was not only a sparkplug for our class, but the glue that held us together for these 55 years. A more generous person in his time and resources I cannot remember. Rosalie and I send condolences to Lynne and to all of Alan's family.

My condolences to the Wilson family. Alan was a wonderful man and a great friend to the Lexington High School Class of 1953. We will sorely miss him as will the entire community of Lexington and the surrounding towns.. Whenever I see a farm, I think of Alan and what he created during his lifetime. His smile sure warmed my heart and many others. Go in peace Alan.

Dear family of Alan Wilson and all who will miss him,
We are very long-time custormers at the farm stand, about forty years now I think, and we have always thought of our weekly times at "Wilson's" as a time to celebrate good people doing good work and raising and selling good food. It has always lifted our hearts to see all those people buying the good stuff you grow and sell. In good times and not so good, Wilson Farm has always been there for us, and for the community. When we came on Thursday and saw the half-staff flag, and learned of Mr. Wilson's passing, we felt not only sadness, but also some pleasure in seeing that the work was going on as usual, and people were buying that good food to nourish their families. I am sure that is the way he would have wanted it.
Our deepest sympathy to all. Many thanks for all your family has given our family these many years.
Respectfully,
John and Hilary Hopkins and daughters, of Cambridge

To the Wilson and Fuery families;
We were deeply saddened to hear of Al's passing. Our friendship started in junior high and, though our lives took very different paths, we have never forgotten those wonderful years. Al was one of the people we admired most. He was a tremendous asset not only to his family, but also to his community. I remember thinking of him as the Mayor of East Lexington. He will be missed.
