David Picard Obituary

PICARD, David T. Of Quincy passed away at home on Monday, October 27, 2008 at age 47. Born in Quincy where he lived all his life, he was a graduate of Quincy High. A member of Local 800, David worked as a longshoreman.The beloved son of Mary E. (Tirrell) Picard of Quincy and the late Robert F. Picard, he is the beloved brother of Linda Picard, Joseph R. Picard and his wife Kathleen, Brian Picard and John Picard, all of Quincy and Mary Picard-Reilly and her husband Peter of Portsmouth, NH. David is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A visiting hour will be held at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm St. (off Hancock St.) QUINCY CENTER on Friday morning, October 31 from 8:00am to 9:00am. A Funeral Mass will follow at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Houghs Neck at 9:00am. Family and friends are invited. Burial is in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to the Houghs Neck Community Scholarship Fund, c/o David DiBona, 45 Turner St. , Quincy, MA 02169. To all the family of David a.k.a. Kitty as most of us knew him as. We are sorry for your loss. Just as the other person says, you leave us with some pretty good memories ans stories, that alot of us will never forget.
