To the stocio and Vespa family;
I would like to thank you for the wonderful brunch on Sunday in Joannes name, I want to say a few things here and this will be my last post on this guest book. Joanne was there Sunday I saw it threw her children and espicially her grandchildren when I saw one little girls eyes I thought I was looking at joanne at a very young age again about 45 years ago.. When this child went walking past me which I found out it was her grand daughter. I want you all to know you have a wonderful family,, I see my friend Joanne in all of your families

auntie, it is a year now since you were taken. I miss you always, so often I want to call to tell you something or to ask if you want to go out and then it hits me all over again. you left a space inside me that will never heal yet when I think of you I smile. I just wanted to come by and tell you how much I miss you. I spent yesterday with your sisters and you not being there is such a void. Noni looks amazing you would be so proud of her, Aunty Gloria still picks on Aunty Dottie, and Aunty Dottie is still a riot with the things she says back to Aunty Gloria. Today I have just heard the most saddest news I thought I would never hear. I recieved an email saying how aunti Joanne had passed away. I cried, something I havent done in a long time. It was of shock and of hearing of a great loss. Aunti Joanne was a great person and one I always respected. I remeber the days when everyone would get together the fourth of july party and Uncle Mikey would cook for everyone. Aunti Joanne nonnie and Aunti Gloria would all sit around talking. The good old days. She may have passed on from this world but she is never truly gone. She is in my heart and that of everyone she has ever came in contact with. auntie, there was never a time in my life that you weren't there. We shared so much from when I was little and Nonie made you take me with you, baby sitting for you on endless Saturday nights and eating lemon donuts and reading True Confessions on Sunday morning. Our friendship was so special, we had babies together and ducked the bill collectors. We shared secrets and gossip and too many laughs to mention. The first time I drove you were my passenger, and many times after. You were always there to offer me support, to share a laugh with and put a smile on my face. When I babysat all the kids way back when, Joanne and Mikey always took care of me with plenty of food and drinks in the fridge for me and my friends. I was young, but what I remember most is the love they had for each other and Joanne's silly laugh. I know you will all truly miss her, but remember the good times and know that she is probably having coffee and visiting with her friends and family as I know my Mom has visited Eva (who she loved) many times. I am so sorry about your loss. Being around Aunty was so fun she was like a kid at heart and I enjoyed every minute I ever spent with her. Mikey, even though we don't see each other much, living miles apart, I have always had all the Stoico's in my heart.

I am so sad to hear that Aunt Joanne has passed away. It is such a hard thing to go through, and I wanted you to know that even though I'm there, I am thinking about you and praying for you.
Aunt Joanne was such a wonderful person! I loved spending time with you all as kids and in recent years at weddings and things...Aunt Joanne always made me feel so loved and included in the "Stoico" clan!
I wish there was something I could do. The only thing I know of for sure is that she is with my dad and the others who have passed before us in heaven.

Dear Uncle Mikey and Family:
I so admire the courage and unity that you have shown throughout this 2-year ordeal. You honored Aunty Joanne well and set an example for the rest of us. Your loving support and care was a tribute to your wife and mother, who valiantly stood up to cancer and held onto life just so that she could share more time with all of you.
I will always remember the mischievous sparkle of her blue eyes, her quick smile, and her girlish giggle.
I hope you find peace in knowing that you brought her love, comfort and joy all the days of her life.

Lisa and the Stoico family,
I am very sorry and i know there are no words that could make anything better right now' or ever again for that matter.
But Lisa, as you know our family has gone through a nightmare also and from my dreadful expierience i would like to share with you what helps me keep moving on.
The good times and memories that i have of my dad, and also the fact that i know that your mom and my dad would not want us to let go of our lives and our goals because we would be letting them down in the process, as it`was thier main goal to see us achieve happiness in whatever we do.
That is the only thing that keeps me sain and my beutiful family that still needs me as i need them,as yours need you.
so please be strong and never let go of your memories and cry until you have no more tears and let your emotions go, but stay focussed becase there are people who need you and love you still and if there is a god in heaven and they are watching us then lets make them proud. keep your family close and stay together it will help all of you immensely.
I didn't know your mom but she was beutiful and she raised a beutiful person and family. Godbless. see you soon.
