Gloria's church and family were the center of her universe. It's impossible to know how many folks actually consider themselves a special part of her family and whose hearts will privately ache forever with her gone. I know mine will.
Just the number of children she nudged directly or indirectly to Christ's love and to doing the right things for themselves and others by living example in this world is mindboggling. For those of us who every time will hear a Grand or upright piano playing somewhere, there will be Gloria banging out the rhythm band song: When the roll is called up yonder with a twinkle in her eyes before Sunday School.
