I have such fond memories of Bill McCarron, his family and the Daley familey. Growing up and participating in the variety shows at St. Benedict's, Post #388, and St Catherines, was such a great experience. I will always treasure those memories. My thoughts and parayers are with you. Kathy Carey

Mr. McCarron,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USMC during WW II fighting the Japanese in the Pacific-especially at Saipan, one of the toughest battles of WW II. It was the history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines back then that all of us Marines who followed in your footsteps have always tried to live up to. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Peg and Family: You were our neighbors and good friends as I was growing up in Somerville. Peggy (Maggie) and my sister Mary, were and still are, "Best Friends". Bill was always a "Great Guy" to all who knew him. I remember all of us kids piling into Bill's old Dodge Sedan on cold winter Sunday mornings to go to church. He would crank the engine over and over and say "Come on Old Besty - please start - we need to get to church." There are lots of very fond memories of Bill and the McCarron Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today.

Although we had only met Bill a few times, we knew a lot of really good things about him from Maggie's sharing of family stories. We also know it took very special parents to give us a wonderful friend like Maggie.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time.
Love, Fred and Emily
