Daniel Fay Obituary

FAY, Daniel J. Sr. 64 years, of South Boston, November 3, 2008. Son of the late Lawrence and Mary A. (Sullivan) Fay. Survived by a son Daniel J. Fay, Jr. and his wife Kelley of Cranford, NJ and a loving daughter Maura (Olcott) Mansfield and her husband Paul of Brockton. Mr. Fay was especially proud of his four wonderful grandchildren, Daniel McMenamy "Mac" and Delaney Catherine Fay of Cranford, NJ and Christopher Michael Olcott and Caitlin Grace Mansfield of Brockton; his dear aunt Eleanor Fay of Dedham; an uncle John Fay of Jamaica Plain, several cousins and his former wife and friend Kathleen (McMenamy) Avery of Brockton. Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) BROCKTON Friday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Parish/St. Edward Church at 9am. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-8pm. Donations may be made in Dan's name to Beacon Hospice, 529 Main Street Suite 101, Charlestown, MA 02129. Thinking of all of you at this time. Wish I could be with you. I have some wonderful memories of my cousin Dan when he was young and liived across the street. I am so pleased to hear about his great children and four wonderful grandchildren. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
