Thomas Motherwell Obituary

MOTHERWELL, Thomas Matthew At 85 years, in Winthrop, formerly of Chelsea, November 1st. Husband of the late Teresa V. (Hartigan). Devoted father of Thomas M. Motherwell & beloved grandfather of Thomas M. Motherwell, both of Winthrop. Dear brother of Richard Motherwell of Margate, FL & the late Cecelia Cronin & Ann Ovack. Also lovingly survived by his great-grandson, Thomas A. Motherwell of Medford & many nieces and nephews. Family & friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Vertuccio Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107) REVERE, on Friday, Nov. 7, at 9 a.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of St. Michael the Archangel at the Chelsea Soldiers' Home, 96 Crest Ave., Chelsea, followed by interment at the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours are in the funeral home on Thursday, 3-7 p.m. Parking available in the lot left of the funeral home. Late WW II Navy Veteran and member of the Winthrop Post of the American Legion. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

Mr. Motherwell,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
