I was so saddened and stunned by the loss of Judy. I met Judy through tennis about ten years ago and always knew her to be competitive and fair. As a USTA captain I admired her ability to manage several teams, keep everyone happy and stay organized. I had no idea she was so accomplished in the medical field-she certainly was humble. I find myself thinking about her every day. She was kind to me when my daughter faced a serious medical situation and never forgot to ask how she was doing. She will be missed. Deb werchadlo

She made me feel welcome anywhere we connected, starting when our girls went to Kingswood together, then while I lived in Foxboro, and always at the gym. I was introduced to Judy about three years ago at Forecourt. I admired her great love for the game of tennis. She was full of energy and life! We had some great conversations about her family and her work experiences. We would periodically bump into each other at Cafe Assisi. This was fun as we would exchange our menu choices & favorite dishes. It felt like such an honor to be invited to play on the same court as Judy. I know she will be missed by so many... My prayers are with her husband and daughters!

I never knew Judy was such an accomplished professional, because she was never one to brag about herself. What she did boast about were the members of her tennis teams. Judy kept the loses on her shoulders, always making us feel like winners. Judy orchestrated one of the best summers I've ever had! I'll miss her and forever remember the good times we shared.

To the Brucks Family,
I have known Judy through tennis at Fore Court for nearly 10 years. We played on the 3.0 womens senior league this summer and we got to spend a weekend in Springfield, where I met Judy's mom and dad and daughter and husband. I am truly sorry to you all for your loss.
The world that encompasses RI tennis has changed alot. Judy will be missed for a long time to come.

We are good friends of Jon's parents, George and Sondra Brucks. The shock of hearing this news is still beyond belief. We met Judy only once but will always recall her graciousness which left a lasting impression. Judy touched so many lives. She was an unbelievable friend & captain & I still cannot understand why she was taken from us. Maybe God was putting together a 3.5 team in heaven and needed her to Captain another winning team. We will all miss her & the tennis circle will never be the same.
