Dear Douglas and Dorathea,
Judy and I spent 3 years living together many years ago but somehow it seems like just yesterday. Judy was so even tempered and easy to live with and I can't imagine anyone being a better roommate. Even though we didn't see each other often over the years, we always kept in touch for special occasions and always with hand written notes. Douglas, I am so happy that you and Judy were able to come to Daniel's wedding. My thoughts are with you and Dorathea. I am sorry I won't be able to be in Boston on Sunday but Peggy and I are planning a road trip to Boston in the near future. We will let you know when we are coming.

Dear Douglas and Dorathea, I am so happy I could share time with Judith over the past couple of weeks. When Judith and I met many years ago when we were both working in Milford, it was instant friendship. After several business meetings we decided to have lunch together one day. We also included evening dinners with our spouses Doug and Ray. Family gatherings followed. Our friendship was special, and the fond memories of a very special person will carry me through this difficult time. Even so our time together was to brief. I will truly miss you Judith.

Dear Mr. Sparrow,
I am terribly saddened to hear of the loss of Judith. Although I have not seen her in several years, she has been in my thoughts, and now- with you- in my prayers. Judith was a special person and a uniquely compassionate manager. I know she was very well thought of here at the MWRA. I would often seek her advise in matters concerning work, but she had a wonderful way of offering a more personal view of things, which always proved just the right thing to say to help the situation.
She will be greatly missed by her former work colleagues. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
