Nora Coyne Obituary

COYNE, Nora C. Of South Boston, November 5, 2008. Daughter of the late John J. and Mary (Lee) Coyne. Predeceased by 9 siblings, including her beloved sister Peg in 2004. Dear cousin of Mary Catherine and sister Anne Ragan and the late Peggy Lee Ragan of Falmouth, ME. Nora was the beloved aunt of four generations. She will be missed by the children of her late nephew Robert Cuddyer and his wife Rita and their families; Karen Gelzinis, Joan McColgan, Jean Boutin, Barbara Sampson, Geraldine, Kevin, Donald and Robert Cuddyer. Devoted aunt of the children of her late sister, Agnes Marchione, and their families; Barbara Allegro, Lorraine Cadman, Mary Moreau, Rita, Ronald and the late Richard Marchione. Beloved aunt of the children of her late sister; Barbara Cuddyer, Donald, Patricia Hunter and the late Mary Flaherty and their families. Beloved aunt of the children of her late sister, Mary Horrigan, and their families; Eugene, Paul and the late John, Donald, Robert, Francis and Richard and their families. Funeral from The O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester St., SOUTH BOSTON, Monday at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Monica's Church at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7PM. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Nora's memory to the St. Augustine's Pantry, 70 Devine Way, South Boston, MA 02127.

I did Nora's and Peg's hair for many years on Broadway and I had many wonderful conversations with them over those years and know that they are greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of their friendship. My condolences to the family. They were great ladies.
