Jane and I are so sorry for your loss. Mr. Hehir was a wonderful, caring man who always had something good to say. I will always remember and be thankful for how he welcomed my family into the neigborhood many years ago, and how he treated all of us as his own. I have many wonderful memories of John Hehir and his family. He made all the neighborhood kids feel welcome in his home and treated us like one of his own. He will be missed.

John was a great influence to all of us as we were growing up in brighton,
he was always there for us ,a great friend and a true gentleman, a man who taught us all the meaning of respect through his actions, and the respect he always had for us as kids in the neighborhood,
John was a man we all loved and respected, and a big influence in our lives,
god will have a special place for him in heaven

The passing of a true gael within our ranks. A founding member of the North American GAA County Board in 1959. Boston, Montreal and all of us were blessed to have such a man amongst us. An individual such as John can never be replaced but we can follow his lead and try to emulate a great man.
