Dearest Burke Family: My heartfelt sympathies to one and all for the dear loss of Jack - your husband/father/grandfather/friend. To quote something someone said to me when my Dad, Uncle Chairlie died: "We never lose those we give to God."
Prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.
Janie & her family....

My sympathies to you & your family Mrs. Burke. Your husband was my 9th grade Civics teacher at Pickering Junior High in 1965-66. I remember his class as if it were yesterday. He would choose me to go & get his lunch sometimes in the cafeteria-- I was always thrilled to be chosen.
I went on to become a secondary history teacher in Lynn as well. He influenced me quite strongly in the areas of US history & love of country. Some of his teaching techniques I have used in my own classroom. I have always wondered about his life and now I know how productive he was in many areas. Please know that he did influence my life & choice of career. I have been teaching for 34 years & will retire this year. I truly loved his class & his sense of humor as a teacher.

My deepest sympathy to the wonderful Burke family. It was always so comforting to see John up there working in his garden. What a magnificent job he did! Ever a friendly man, John brought a love of nature to all the neighborhood. God bless him and the entire family. June Robinson

My deepest sympany to all of the Burke Family for the loss of a Husband and a Father, and my Uncle.
Such a kind and special Uncle. One who taught me to like Football at a very young age. One who let us sleep over even though he already had so many children of his own. He was kind, loving and my own Fathers
cousin, but much much more than that, he was Charlie's best friend. Always there when he needed him most and I will be eternally grateful for the love and support he gave my Mother Babarba Griffin during the past 20 years after the loss of her husband, my beloved Father Charles V. Griffin. God Bless you Uncle Jack
With all my Love
