Merrilyn, Kev and Dave:
It is with the heaviest heart that we offer our thoughts and prayers to you and your families. A truly blessed man, Obie will be missed, but never forgotten. His love of family and life will endure, as he has imparted this on an extended family far reaching, evidenced by the outpouring of thoughts and prayers from those touched by his life and untimely passing. This Irish blessing seems fitting; "May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and, until we meet again, may god hold you in the palm of His hand"

Beth and I saw Obie this past weekend. We both commented that whenever we saw George he was always smiling, truly happy, and quick with an 'attaboy.' He always made those around him feel good. A good man and an even better neighbor and will always be remembered as such.

God looked around His garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best...
