Mr. Correia,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW II and secondly for the citizens of Cambridge when you served with the CPD. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

To Carolyn, Joe and Elaine:
My mother and I are so sad to have
lost another special person in our
lives. I will never forget what he has
done for us throughout our lives. My
mom and dad were very blessed to
have your parents as part of their lives. When your mom passed six
years ago I had a difficult time, but
seeing so many of their generation
pass, it gets harder every time we
lose someone. As a little girl I remember sharing so many good, as
well as, sad times with all of your family. I was always extremely touched when my mother would tell
me that your father just worked a detail to help put food on our table .
Everyone should have such a dear
friend in their lives. So many times
in the middle of the night when my
parents would call them because I
was having trouble in my first marriage your mom and dad would
rush over no matter what time, even
in the middle of the night. How much
more do I go on. I have prayed for the Holy Spirit to give me strength
so that I could give a little back. When your mom and dad were married 25 years they asked me to sing at their party. This is the least I can do to say farewell to a man that has given us so much is to give
praise with a beautiful hymm at his
funeral Mass. It would take forever
to thank him for all he has done for us in the past years. Whenever my
dad came out of surgery your parents always met us to give us
strength. For that I will be ever so
greatful. Go now in peace to be with
Aunt Mary. Someday we will all be
together home with the Lord.
Love, Maureen and
Comare Tina

TO the Correia Family,
Words could not express my sadness in the loss of a great man. I have wonderful memories of growing up on Newton st. Papa Joe as my Kids would call him. He always had a big bucket of change for the kids, they still talk about a fistful. This Just made me really miss the good old days on Newton st.
love to all Kim (Quinton) Megan
