Christina Little

LITTLE, Christina "Tina" 93, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2008, at EPOCH of Brewster. Christina, formerly of Springfield and Longmeadow, was born in Montreal, Canada. She was raised and educated in the greater Boston area. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Little for 63 years. Christina was the loving mother of Barbara Hoar of Brewster, Beverly Haight of Wellfleet, and Gail Murphy of Eastham. She leaves a brother, John Denekamp of Westwood; and was predeceased by five sisters and two brothers: Johanna Fernandes, Hermina Dolan, Hennie Catenacci, Elsie Brack, Mary Funk, Bernard Denekamp, and Herman "Bob" Denekamp. She also leaves eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Christina loved her home and enjoyed gardening, sewing, entertaining, and playing bridge. She was an avid golfer and was an active member of Franconia Golf Course in Springfield for forty years. Her greatest enjoyment was being a mother and grandmother and spending time with her family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Longmeadow. Burial will be in the Longmeadow Cemetery following the service.
