LUPIS, Salvatore J. Of Winthrop, and formerly of Charlestown and the North End of Boston, on Nov 13. Beloved husband of over 58 years to Beatrice I. (Mourao) Lupis. Devoted father of Elaine Riordon and her husband John of Braintree, Stephen of East Boston, John and his wife Donna of Winthrop and Maria Sweeney and her fiance' Chris Luppi of Winthrop. Dear brother of Angelo and his wife June of Winthrop and the late Rosario, Sister Bernadette Marie Lupis, OSF and Marianne Mello. Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews Funeral from the Ruggiero Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. (Orient Heights), EAST BOSTON on Monday, Nov. 17 at 10:30 AM followed by his Funeral Mass in St John the Evangelist Church, Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:30. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours Sunday (Today), 2-6 PM. Sal enjoyed playing his accordion at weddings and other functions. Sal and his wife Beatrice devoted over 25 years to singing and taking care of the music in St. Catherine's Church, Charlestown and St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church, East Boston.
