John P. Bremer

BREMER, John P. 82, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, died Friday, November 14, 2008 in FL. Mr. Bremer attended the University of IL, the University of Chicago and the Paris American University in Paris, France, where he received his MBA Degree. During his long career, he worked for IBM in Washington, DC, Vaule & Co. in Providence, RI; co-founded Systemation, Inc. in Boston, MA and was the Sr. Consulting Manager at Keane Associates In Wellesley, MA. In 1974, he founded Bremer Associates Inc., a management consulting firm in Boston, MA, where he was the president for 25 years, before retiring in 1990. John joined the board of Safe Schools South Florida (formerly GLSEN So. FL.) in 1996. He remained on the board up until his death. He is survived by one sister, Jane Price of Hendersonville, NC; his longtime companion, Rob Strauss of Martha's Vineyard, MA and his friend, Charles Barrette of Pompano Beach, FL. A Celebration of Life Service will be held for John at a date yet to be determined in Ft. Lauderdale. Expressions of sympathy may be made in John's name to Safe Schools South Florida, P.O.
