Mr. Durkin,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army and secondly for the citizens of Acton when you served with the APD. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

As a close childhood friend of Sarah's (his Granddaughter), I've been lucky to have known "Grampie" for several years. He was a rock to her family. My thoughts and prayers are with all his family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I have had the pleasure of knowing Bill for the past two years at The Inn at Robbins Brook, here in Acton. Bill had a wonderful attitude and was full of fun. We would talk about the good ole days he always would add a little kidding joke. I am sorry for your loss, and Bill will remain in our thoughts and prayers.
