Laurel, I am so sorry for your loss; although I have had only the briefest encounters with your late husband, those encounters were enough to show me how nice a guy he was and how much he adored you. I have lost a number of great friends these past two years and only can imagine your grief. My deepest sympathy.

No one had a stronger will to live; fought harder to stay alive, than did Tom. Members of his support group celebrated his highs and hurt when he was low. I will miss him.

Thank you, Tom, for all you brought to us and all you taught us in our group. You brought such grace to your journey; we are all touched by it and you have been a blessing to us all. Laurel, Stephen and Sarah, your loss is unimaginable; what a magnificent person Tom was, and he loved each of you so! I know he will always be a part of each one of you.
