To Jane,Michaela,Michael,Bobby, Nancy & family,

I wanted to pass along our condolences. I was saddened when I heard the news of Mr. Keaveney. He was an admirable man and will be missed. He set a good example for both Mike and myself when we were impressionable young men. Take care of one another and our thoughts are with you.

Mrs. Keaveney and family, I had met Bill a few years ago as a guest of his for a golf outing at his Walpole CC. I must say not only was he a good golfer but he was a great friend. The first time we met even before the match started I felt I knew him for years. I only wished I did. He will be terribly missed by all of us. May the Peace of Christ comfort you and your family.

God Bless
Len

I was very saddened to learn of Billy’s passing. I wish to extend my sympathy to the Keaveney family friends. I attended St. Patrick’s School in Watertown with Billy so many years ago. Billy was a fellow 12 year “lifer” at St. Pat’s. Sadly, as with most of the class, we went our separate ways after graduation only to meet again at a few of the Reunions. Now I wish I had maintained closer contact. In retrospect, that period of time in the fifties and sixties was very special for the students at St. Pats. We were all post war kids growing up in working class Watertown. Our families were all very similar and we managed to survive together the notorious Dominican Nuns. I remember Bill as a natural leader, a social magnet, and the person you wanted to be with. Billy’s intelligence, wit, smile, and laugh will never be forgotten. Goodbye, dear friend – your memory will live on.

Jane and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Bill was a wonderful man, great fun and a great friend to my Dad. I will always remember the Karaoke night at my parents house - Danny Boy will never be the same for me! Every time I hear it, all these years later, I picture Bill Keaveney. Today I will sing for Bill. God be your strength. Kimberly Castello-Stutchbury and Family
