Dear Mr and Mrs Riley, How are you all doing? Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I didn't know Michael but I know the pain of losing a child. Life changes forever, It does not go on. My sons will never be truly dead because I talk non-stop about them. God gets us through. Like the poem footsteps in the sand, He has carried me more than I've walked during this journey of survival. Enjoy your memories, even if they make you sad. Remember to laugh. Our kids always have a way of making us laugh! Lastly, fly with the eagles and stay away from those well meaning turkeys. Much love to you all, Mary Daley Pollander

Mr. and Mrs. Riley and Tommy -

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember when I would be home and I would go to Saint Peter's and Michael would be an altar server. I was shocked to read of his death. He will be missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Mike at Stop & Shop. Not only was he a good worker, but a nice, kind, and helpful person as well.

I send my condolensces to the Riley family. I loved Mike. We worked together at S&S for almost 2 yrs b4 I left. He was a kind heart and he was always smiling and laughing with us. I called him my little blonde eye, because of the mark he had on his eye and that stuck with him for a while. It became my name for him, but he always called me Ida. He was the best! We always played and laughed and messed up each others work, at work. He was a great friend and an even better advisor. Im really gonna miss him and its hard to believe that he's gone. Tommy really loved his brother Mike and I hope the whole family is making it with one another. God bless you guys!

-Sincerely, Ida Moore
