Forrest Barnes Obituary

BARNES, Forrest G. Of Beverly, MA, November 20, Forrest G. Barnes, 88, husband of Dorrice F. Kelley-Barnes, former employee of General Electric Company, Aircraft Division, in Lynn and Vermont. Former owner of Apache Alarm Company, Dragon Alarm Company and Aerospace Labs in Lynn. Former resident of Cavendish, VT. Also survived by four daughters, Martha Mari, Cynthia Erickson, both of Beverly, Janice Sullivan of North Reading, and Patricia Dann of New Hampshire, three sons, Michael of Ireland, Forrest of North Reading, and Richard Barnes of Massachusetts, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth Barnes, a brother, Lloyd Barnes and a sister, Isabelle Barnes. Visiting hours will be held on Monday in the Campbell-Lee Moody and Russell Funeral Home, 9 Dane St., (Downdown Location) BEVERLY from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Followed by a funeral service at St. Peter's Episcopal Church., Ocean Street, Beverly at Noon. Burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 75 Sylvan Suite 102B Street, Danvers, MA 0l923 Information, directions, condolencesat www.campbellfuneral.com.

We can't help but smile every time we think about our dear friend Forrest. He was one of a kind!!! He had the best since of humor , wit and was not only funny but was incredibly intelligent. Forrest you were like a dad to us and will be missed more than you'd ever of known, but your in our hearts & memories forever, love Julie and Rob

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, I remember sitting at Forest house in Swampscott brakeing bread, maybe there for dinner.. Playing hockey with Ricky, in Swampscott youth hockey and in Jr High, & High School, Forest was always there in the Lynn Arena, I remember going to school with Patty, and in a full circle, working with Cindy at IRA olds, Visiting Forest in his Hamilton home, you were always welcome, We have lost one of the good ones..
