LaVITA, Dorothy E. (Doucette) Of Everett, Nov. 19. Beloved wife of the late Bernard C. LaVita. Mother of Bernard J. LaVita of Dracut and his companion Karen Clark, Robert W. and his wife Gilda of Wilmington, Richard A. and his wife Yiqing "Katie" of East Boston and former mother-in-law of Sandra LaVita. Grandmother of six and great grandmother of four. Sister of Donald Doucette of Peabody and the late William and John Doucette. Funeral from the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Park St. and Rte. 28), NORTH READING, at Reading line, Monday, Nov. 24 at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Theresa's Church, 63 Winter St (Rte 62), North Reading at 10:30 AM. Relatives & friends may visit at the Funeral Home Sunday, 2-6 PM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Are you lonesome tonight, was the dance that Dotty and I would dance too..and what an enjoyable moment it was for me.....and all the music we had in common.....I hope she tells Brother Jack that we miss him in the trivia contest we used to have at all the sock hops years ago....

Dottie was the best...lots of fun ...we always celebrated both dottie and my mothers birthday together, last year was the first year she could not be with us at our house...there was a void....she will always be missed and loved by everyone.

My dancing partner to Are you lonesome tonight.......during all the family parties....she loved elvis music......among all other oldies...she even worked for me once....for one day...I was told it was the only job she ever had....other than mother and housewive.....she was great and I'm going to miss her joking around and sense of humer..
