Dear Tucker Family:
My parents, Victoria and James Cullen (now deceased), worked with Mr. Tucker at the Penn Central in the early 1970's. When Mr. Tucker learned that I was preparing a report on early transportation systems of the South Shore for my high school senior project, he offered to send me varioius railroad keepsakes of his (train schedules and tickets, etc, from the late 1800's) to use in my report. His thoughtfulness was much appreciated. My mother said that he was the nicest "VIP" that she ever met!
My deepest sympathies on your loss,
Nancy Cullen

My Father, John "Red" Connelly, was in the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne during WWII and jumped with Mr. Tucker. They had ocassional written correspondence, and under Mr. Tucker's influence,"Red" contributed all of his memorabilia to the Museum.
We are sorry for your loss.
