Devoted mother of Linda J. (McGovern) Davies and her husband Wayne of Hopkinton and Valerie G. (McGovern) Ryder and her husband Charles of Walpole. Loving and cherished grandmother of Matthew & Jason Ryder & Garrett & Brandt Davies. Daughter of the late Anthony and Grace (Lane) Bensaia. Sister of the late Alvan Bensaia. Funeral from the P.E. Murray-George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Theresa's Church, West Roxbury, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Shirley was a wonderful lady, a friend and customer of ours at our automotive business in Framingham. She and Al loved going to Poland Springs to stay. She was a very caring wife to our friend Al Macchi whom we also miss. God rest her soul.
