Loving father of Charlotte Culgin and her husband Ronald of Needham, Catherine Pearson and her husband Stephen of Mt. Airy, MD, James E. Fleming and his wife Mary Anne of Hopkinton, Stephen Fleming and his wife Penelope of York, SC, Carson Ann Hire and her husband Philip of Millis, Peggy Strakosch and her husband Greg of Needham, and Robert W. Fleming and his wife Pamela of Midlothian, VA. Jim also leaves his 16 dear grandchildren and companions Irene and Brian Callender. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Bartholomew Church on Wednesday November 26rd at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours at the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave NEEDHAM on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Interment with Military Honors will take place in the Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne on Wednesday at 1 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Services of Massachusetts, 577 Main St. Wareham MA 02571. Late graduate from Roxbury Latin, class of 1948 and Harvard University class of 1952. Served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. Recipient of the Purple Heart and member of Disabled American Veterans. Retired Sales Representative of the former American Can Company in Needham for over 32 years.
