Capt. Lubker,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USN-especially during WW II when you served with the U.S. Naval Construction Battalions. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Dear Carolyn, Tom, Jay and Rob
I was so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I know you can never truly be prepared for a loved one's passing no matter how ill they are. Bob was such an exemplary man and one we were proud to have shared some time. Despite all his accomplishments, he struck me as a quiet and humble man. You were truly blessed to have shared 65 years with him.
We were so happy to be able to visit you this past summer and see you all. It was nice to see that he was at home with his family overlooking a lovely yard and surrounded by the people he loved. His was a life well-lived.
Take care and love to you all.
