CALLAHAN, Arthur C. Of Topsfield, Nov 21, age 85. Loving husband for 53 years of Alice A. (Hennessey) Callahan; son of the late John and Annie (Gallagher) Callahan. Father and father in law of Arthur C. "Chuck" Callahan Jr. and his wife Ann and Margaret Yonis and her husband Dean with whom he had resided; grandfather of 3. Brother of the late Fran, John, Margaret, Joseph, Thomas, and Dorothy Callahan. Funeral Tues., December 2 at 9:15 A.M. from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of Rte 114, Exit 25A from rte 128) SALEM to be followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. in St. Thomas the Apostle the Church on the Salem Peabody Line. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Monday, December 1 from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M and 6 to 8 P.M. in the Funeral Home. Interment will be private. My deepest sympathies to Chuck,Alice and Peggy. I will always remember beers at the Polish club ,golf ,golf and more golf. Arthur could always tell you how to draw the ball with the left two fingers on the club. I'll also remember having fun at the Callahan house ,while waiting for Jack and Arthur to come home from Wenham. God Bless All ...Mike K, alias Paul N.

Sir, I would just lke to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
