To Wiggy
I just found out about Bill's passing today from Tinki. I know how hard it must feel to loose someone you loved so much but he is in heaven now and most likely playing bridge everyday. He was a great bridge teacher and he tought me a lot over the last 2 years. I was very honored to have been his partner on Wednesday afternoons. I'm also very glad I had the opportunity to visit him in the hospital before I moved and very happy I called and spoke to him about my new home in Florida. He was always upbeat with a great dry sense of humor and never a had a bad word about anyone.
I will miss him.

Wiggy, Bill and All,
Received the news yesterday as I visited the Island. Bill is going to be missed by all on the Island and at the Club. I will miss his laugh and wisdom, often given together... My mother and the rest of the family send their love.

Dear Wiggy, We were devastated to learn of Bill's death. We know the past weeks and months had been very difficult for all the family. He was a special person in our lives and we, too, will miss him greatly and will always connect him and you with warm friendship and love as well as bridge and dinners at the Villa. My heart goes out to you, Wiggy, and the family in your great loss. I have a personal debt of gratitude to Bill. Bill's ability to pair players together and peacefuly resolve the usual bridge player disputes was unmatchable. For so long both you and Bill very ably kept more than a hundred people happy at the bridge game every Monday.
He will be missed. With love,
Shirley Brown
