FERNANDES, John A. At 85 years, in Revere, formerly of Dorchester, November 27 (Thanksgiving Day). Beloved husband of 48 years to Jean A. (Henry). Devoted father of Cindy J. Nickerson & husband Wallace & John M. Fernandes, all of Revere, Dorothy DiGiorgio of Berwick, ME & Katie E. Fernandes of Leominster. Loving grandfather of Jon-Brian, William M. & Michael W. Nickerson, all of Revere, Francesca A. DiGiorgio & Anthony D. DiGiorgio, both of Winthrop, Jonathan Gould of Berwick, ME, Tara, John J. & Christopher Fernandes, all of Laconia, NH & Blake Croteau of Leominster. Also lovingly survived by several great-grandchildren. Family & friends are invited to attend a memorial graveside service on Friday, December 5, at 1 p.m. in the Blue Hills Cemetery, 700 West St., Braintree. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Former Proprietor of Johnny's Cab Company of Revere & Navy Veteran of WW II. Alumnus of Boston College, Class of 1950.
